What makes A.S. Different From a Travel Agency or Tour Group?

Adventure Society is a social organization that provides opportunities for its members to socialize with people who share similar interests in many different environments. You may meet someone on a hiking trip, then see them at a cocktail hour, then see them at a kick boxing class, etc. Adventure Society was started to create a community among people in the city and surrounding areas who enjoy the outdoors, adventurous activities and unique travel and our focus is on giving people access to an active, healthy, social lifestyle.

Is Adventure Society a Singles Organization?

A.S. is not a singles organization we are open to singles and couples and have an even mix of both. The focus of our trips and activities is enjoying the experience, trying new things and socializing with others who have similar interests.

Do Singles Attend the Trips & Activities?

Yes, there are single people who attend the trips and activities and it's quite common for people to travel solo or with a couple of friends.

Do Couples Attend the Trips & Activities?

Yes, couples attend the trips and activities and it's a great opportunity for couples to meet other couples and/or to meet new people who have similar interests and make new friends.

Do People Attend Solo?

It's quite common for people to attend the trips solo as it is a great way to meet new people and make new friends with others who have a similar interest in the outdoors, outdoor activities and travel.

What Are the Demographics of the Group?

Members range from late 20's to mid 40's with the largest concentration in their mid 30's, backgrounds in varying industries and a shared passion for adventure! The male to female ratio varies depending on the trip, some trips attract more men and others attract more women. It tends to depend upon the activity.

Do People Make Friends During the Trips & Activities?

Quite often yes. We have found that people tend to have strong synergies as they all share the same passion for the outdoors, travel, and athletic activities. Adventure Society members are a certain type of personality they tend to be passionate, driven, outgoing, social, open-minded, easy going and fun-loving.
